At Enovus Labs, we offer a range of thermomechanical design services specifically tailored to create hardware that will withstand the harshest environments. We can join you at any part of the design cycle or collaborate to complete the entire cycle for you. With extensive experience bringing ideas from inception through the design cycle, we have successfully delivered on numerous challenging projects. These include creating the world's first 4G network for the moon, developing thermomechanical housings for a sensitive OCT device, and delivering 4G small cells by drone (work undertaken while employed at Nokia Bell Labs).

Design

With an extensive track record of invention and engineering design, we have amassed a skill base and supply chain that will translate your idea into reality rapidly. We offer the full suite of design solutions including IP generation, conceptualisation, simulation, design and build. Build

We like to get our hands dirty. We're passionate about converting digital designs into physical objects and we have the in-house capabilities to do it rapidly. We can also assist with the manufacturing of small batches in cooperation with our extensive supplier network to deliver hardware for your test audience. Some of our manufacturing and prototyping hardware include:

CNC Machining, 3D Printing, painting, finishing and branding.

Experimentation

We love to experiment in novel and creative ways and we've built multiple highly accurate test facilities to scrutinise designs and evaluate their performance. Collecting this information is key to unlocking the true potential of any idea. Over and over, we have started out with an idea and only after the experimentation phase is completed, that idea can evolve into something far more powerful. Some of the experiments we've completed can be found in our 59 scientific publications. We're adding experimental capabilities continually but some of our primary facilities are:

Thermal Vacuum Chamber, Stereo Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), Infrared Thermography, Freeze Pump Thaw Two Phase Filling Facility, Standard Wind Tunnel, Thermal Wind Tunnel, Multiple Data Acquisition Systems.

 

Analysis

Scientists by trade, we know that being able to analyse experimental results is key to understanding how to improve a design. Extracting relevant information and presenting it in a relatable manner is critical for stakeholders to understand the potential impact of your idea. We pride ourselves on presenting our findings in a way that is accessible to all, as the great Albert Einstein said "If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself."

 

Demonstration

When the design cycle is complete, your concept is ready for its debut. You only get one chance to make a first impression and we aim to create a sensory experience to highlight key features to customers in an informative and memorable way. ENOVUS LABS BRINGS FRESH THINKING TO ANY PROBLEM

 

 

Analog Devices engaged with Enovus Labs to help them convert the Unique Selling Point (USP) of their components into metrics that resonate with their customers. We performed an in-depth analysis and correlated their customer's key metrics with their own product's USP. Outputs from this work include factual marketing material, high quality renders, and clear, easily understandable metrics that go beyond those found on a component datasheet. This work was demonstrated on a stand designed by Enovus Labs, exhibited at Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, giving Analog Devices the edge to win in the marketplace.
